Biography:

          JASON SHELKOWITZ received his Bachelor of Music degree from the Boston Conservatory of Music and the Master of Music degree from the Manhattan School of Music where he studied with David Leisner.  Mr. Shelkowitz has performed solo and chamber concerts at venues in Arizona, Boston, New Jersey, Connecticut, and New York, including the famous Riverside Church.  Mr. Shelkowitz is a trained Suzuki guitar teacher and was a faculty member of the Judith Wharton Music Center (formerly the Suburban Community Music Center) outside of New York City in New Jersey for eight years.  He is currently residing in Massachusetts where he performs, teaches, and is now writing children's songs that incorporate classical techniques.
